NASHUA — A former firefighter in Nashua has been arrested for possession of child pornography.

The arrest came after an extensive investigation conducted by the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Patrick Reardon, a 41, was taken into custody on April 28 at the Derry Police Department headquarters.

He is now facing a total of 15 counts of felony possession of child pornography.

The warrants for his arrest were based on a cyber tip received by the NH ICAC, prompting the launch of an immediate investigation.

The investigation involved the combined efforts of officers and employees from various law enforcement agencies, including the Bow, Concord, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Salem police departments, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, and the New Hampshire State Police.

Their collaborative approach proved instrumental in ensuring a thorough examination of the case.

Following his arrest, Reardon was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail for each warrant.

He is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on June 1 to face six charges.

Subsequently, on June 2, he is expected to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court North to face the remaining nine charges.
