Man arrested for domestic violence and drug possession in Nashua

NASHUA — A man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been arrested in Nashua, New Hampshire for domestic violence and drug possession.

Cesar Medina Morales, 32, has been charged with felony second degree assault, felony possession of a controlled drug, four counts of misdemeanor simple assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

According to the Nashua Police Department, Medina Morales was arrested on April 20, after his partner reported that he had assaulted and strangled her during a physical altercation.

Detectives investigated the incident and determined that Medina Morales was responsible for the assault.

Medina Morales was found hiding in a residence at the time of his arrest and was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.

He is being held on preventative detention and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough Superior Court-South on April 21, 2023.
