NEWPORT — Newport Mayor Beth Barnes is inviting residents to join her on an easy, family-friendly hike at the Bluffside Farm Trails on May 6.
The hike will cover approximately 2 miles roundtrip and will begin at 2 p.m. at the parking area on Scott Farm Road, just south of the intersection with Bluff and Spruce Streets.
Participants are advised to bring water and sunscreen.
The event will also feature a member of the Vermont Land Trust team who will provide information about Bluffside Farm as attendees hike.
This will be an easy hike approximately 2 miles roundtrip and is a family friendly event.
