SOMERSWORTH – The Somersworth Police Department is proud to announce that K-9 Officer Colton Deschenes has achieved the designation of Master Police Officer.
MPO is the highest level that can be obtained by a Police Officer with the department and it is designated on their uniform by two chevrons with a star underneath.
Deschenes, who is currently assigned to the Patrol Division with his K-9 partner Bravo, has numerous collateral duties as a Field Training Officer, Tactical Medic, and one of the departmental instructors.
He has also served as the School Resource Officer in the past.
The department congratulated Deschenes on reaching this milestone and thanke him for all that he does.
