BERKSHIRE — A Vermont man was arrested on today for domestic assault and violating court-ordered conditions of release, according to the Vermont State Police.
Scott Russell, 62, of Berkshire, was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he was the aggressor in a domestic assault on Lost Nation Road in Berkshire.
Russell violated court-ordered conditions of release and was found to be the subject of two active arrest warrants stemming from failures to appear in Franklin County Superior Court cases.
Russell was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing and then lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility where he is being held without bail pending arraignment.
The Vermont State Police received the report of the domestic assault this morning at around 11:00 a.m.
