NEWFANE — A 44-year-old man was arrested for first-degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Newfane yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight at a home on Vermont Route 30 at around 10:10 p.m.
Police allege that Bradford Garland, of Newfane, had assaulted a family member.
Garland was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court today.
