Driver arrested for DUI #2 in Hollis

HOLLIS — A 37-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Hollis yesterday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop for a speeding violation on South Merrimack Road at around 9:30 p.m.

The officer, upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, began to detect signs of impairment.

As a result of the roadside investigation, David Rester, of Hollis, was placed under arrest for the offense of DUI.

He was transported to the Hollis Police Department where he was processed and released on PR bail with an arraignment date scheduled at the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District.

At the time of this arrest, Retter was already subject to bail conditions related to a previous DUI arrest in Hollis that occurred on June 2, 2022.
