Two injured during single-vehicle crash in Sudbury

SUDBURY — A 19-year-old man from Texas was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Sudbury today.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 30 at around 11:20 a.m.

According to the report, Anthony Morocho, 20, of Elmhurst, NY, was traveling north when he failed to negotiate a slight left turn.

The vehicle lost control, crossed into the southbound lane, and then back across the northbound lane.

Police say Morocho then left the road, entered a ditch, and hit a tree before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest.

A passanger in the vehicle, and Morocho were transported to Porter medical Center.

State Police were assisted on the scene by the Sudbury Fire Department and Brandon Rescue Squad.
