Man arrested for DUI after crashing into tree in Warren

WARREN – A man has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle into a tree on Sugarbush Access Road in Warren.

According to Vermont State Police, Joshua Marinack, 29, of Granville, was driving a 2014 Nissan Frontier on Thursday night when he crashed into a tree.

Marinack was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and suffered only minor injuries.

Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:19 p.m. and found Marinack to be under the influence of intoxicants.

He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The vehicle sustained significant damage and was totaled in the crash.

Marinack is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division to answer to the charge of DUI.

The road conditions at the time of the crash were wet due to light rain.

No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident.
