8 arrested in Nashua, Hudson drug round-up

HUDSON – Several law enforcement agencies in New Hampshire participated in a coordinated round-up operation resulting in the arrest of eight individuals on various drug crimes.

During the week of March 13, members of the Drug Enforcement Agency-Bedford NH Office, Hudson Police Department, Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and Problem Oriented Policing Unit conducted a sting operation under “Operation Granite Shield”.

The arrested individuals were charged with crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity and other criminal offenses.

The charges ranged from possession of a controlled drug to criminal liability for conduct of another.

The arrested individuals were released on bail and their arraignments are pending at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District and the 9th Circuit District Division- Nashua Court.

The list of arrests is as follows:

– Auri Diaz, 29, charged with Criminal Liability for Conduct of Another- Possession of a Controlled Drug with the Intent to Distribute (Heroin/Fentanyl)

– Daurys Diaz, 24, charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with the Intent to Distribute (Heroin/Fentanyl)

– Luis Diaz, 49, charged with Disobeying an Officer

– Joshua Wortman, 30, charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug (Heroin/Fentanyl)

– Iziah Diaz, 24, charged with Driving After Revocation or Suspension and Driving Without Giving Proof

– Kayla Jones, 33, charged with three (3) counts of Dealing in or Possessing Prescription Drugs

– Samantha Gervais, 30, charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug (Heroin/Fentanyl), Possession of a Controlled Drug (Methylphenidate Hydrochloride), and three (3) counts of Resisting Arrest, and Driving After Revocation or Suspension

– Joseph King, 30, charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug-Subsequent Offense (Heroin/Fentanyl) and Possession of a Controlled Drug-Subsequent Offense (Lorazepam)
