Woman charged with reckless driving, DLS in Berkshire

BERKSHIRE — Vermont State Police say a woman has been accused of negligent operation and criminal driving with a suspended license after she was caught driving nearly 35 mph over the speed limit.

According to police, Mandy Bushey, 36, of Burlington, was driving on Route 105 by King Road in Berkshire yesterday when her vehicle was caught on stationary radar traveling at 85 mph in a 50 mph zone.

After being pulled over by troopers, it was revealed that Bushey was driving with a suspended license.

Bushey was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court for the offenses.

She was later mailed a VCVC for speeding and no insurance.
