Brookline man held without bail following assault

BROOKLINE — Vermont State Police arrested Taylor A. Morse, 37, on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault.

According to police reports, on March 12, 2023, Vermont State Police received a 911 call from Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend, stating that a patient at the facility was the victim of domestic assault.

After an investigation, police determined that Morse had physically assaulted another household member in the Town of Brookline.

Morse was arrested and is being held without bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on March 15, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of first-degree aggravated domestic assault.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
