WALLINGFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Wallingford last week.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 140, near Sugar Hill Road, on Feb. 25.

According to the report, Theadore Lee, 54, of Shrewsbury, had stopped to check the welfare of a separate vehicle that left the road prior to the crash.

Lee parked his vehicle on the westbound lane with the vehicle’s emergency lights on.

Gary Mezzi, 62, of North Haven, who was traveling west, struck the rear of Lee’s vehicle.

Police say road conditions at the time of the crash were a contributing factor.

Wallingford Fire and EMS assisted troopers on the scene.

No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
