NEWPORT CENTER — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Newport Center yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 14 at around 5:15 p.m.
According to the report, Blayne Monfette, 59, of Newport Center, struck Tara Barros, 53, of Old Saybrook, CT.
Road conditions were dry at the time, and police say Monfette was following too closely.
No injuries were reported, and B&B Towing responded to the crash for Monfette’s vehicle.
