Police investigating after shots fired in Manchester

MANCHESTER — Police are investigating after shots were fired in Manchester yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of gunshots on Market Street at around 11:30 p.m.

Arriving officers spoke to witnesses who said they heard multiple gunshots and saw two vehicles leaving the area.

It is unknown if the vehicles are related to the incident, police say.

Through the course of the investigation, police located several spent casings in an alley behind the address and discovered that one round had entered a nearby apartment.

Police say nobody was injured.
