WATERBURY — Two people from Morristown were arrested following an incident in Waterbury earlier this month.

On February 18, authorities say they were notified of a firearm stolen from Parro’s Gun Shop.

An additional firearm was stolen from the store on the same day.

During the investigation, police allege that Michael Ulrich, 31, and Carlee Shields, 44, both of Morristown, were seen handling the firearms at Parro’s.

Yesterday, they were taken into custody and transported to the Berlin barracks for processing.

They were released on a citation to appear in court to answer to the charges of retail theft and persons prohibited from possessing firearms.
