64-year-old woman stuck and killed in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A 64-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a car in Manchester on Friday.

The incident took place in the area of 435 Elm Street at around 6:30 p.m.

According to the report, a motor vehicle traveling south on Elm Street had collided with a pedestrian on the road.

The pedestrian, identified as a 64-year-old woman from Manchester, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The driver of the motor vehicle was a 32-year-old woman also from Manchester who sustained no injuries.

Police have not released the identities of the pedestrian and the driver involved at this time.

The cause and totality of the crash are still under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit.
