HUNTINGTON — A 24-year-old woman from Middlebury was arrested for DUI following a crash in Huntington yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Main Road and Hinesburg Hollow Road at around 7:45 p.m.
Police say they identified the sole occupant and driver as Micaela Gayner.
According to the report, Gayner was traveling east on Hinesburg Hollow Road when she failed to come to a stop at the Main Road intersection stop sign and collided with a guardrail, disabling her vehicle.
Police say no injuries were sustained from the crash.
While speaking with Gayner, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.
She was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, she was transported to a detox facility with a citation to appear in court on March 16 to answer the charge of DUI.
