18-year-old arrested for stabbing in Montpelier

MONTPELIER — A man was arrested following a stabbing in Montpelier on Monday.

The incident took place at the Montpelier Transit Center at around 8:25 p.m.

Police say the victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times and was immediately transferred to the Central Vermont Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect was identified as Ayden Jestice, 18, of Marshfield.

With the assistance of Barre City Police and Vermont State Police, Jestice was located and arrested at around 10:30 p.m.
