WESTMORELAND — A 50-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence following a crash in Westmoreland yesterday.
The crash took place on Route 12, in the area of Capron Road, at around 10:35 a.m.
According to the report, a 2008 Subaru Forester driven by Jon Pontti, of Claremont, NH, was traveling south when it traveled over the yellow solid line and hit a 2012 Toyota Prius being driven north by Jacob Karmen, 48, of Bellows Falls.
Karmen and a passenger in the 2008 Subaru Forester received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at Cheshire Medical Center.
Pontti was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence and was released on personal recognizance bail.
Police are still investigating this crash.
