NASHUA — A 51-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an incident in Nashua.
On January 18, authorities say they were notified of two thefts of packages from the building’s community mailboxes at an apartment complex.
Derek Lennartson, of Nashua, was identified as the suspect.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for theft by unauthorized taking, two prior convictions.
On February 10, police say they arrested Lennartson for the warrant.
At the time of the arrest, police say he was in possession of substances believed to be methamphetamine and cocaine.
Two counts of possession of a controlled drug were added to Lennartson’s charges.
He was released on bail and will be arraigned in court on March 16.
