ARLINGTON — A 55-year-old man was cited following an incident in Arlington yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a citizen dispute on Vermont Route 313 west.

The complaining witnesses told police that Ricky Thompson, of Arlington, drove past their vehicles and yelled profanities at them.

The witnesses provided identifying information about Thompson, and his vehicle, leading troopers to locate him and the vehicle.

Police say Thompson admitted to operating the vehicle.

Troopers then cited Thompson for operating with a criminally suspended license.

He is scheduled to appear in Arlington Criminal Court on February 27 to answer to the charge.
