Suspect brought to Nashua to face charges

NASHUA — A 52-year-old man from Maine was arrested in Lisbon last month.

In May of 2022, members from the Nashua Police Department’s Cyber Crimes against Children Unit initiated an investigation related to the sexual exploitation of children via the internet.

During this investigation, police say they identified Ricky Jordan, of Topsham, Maine, as an individual distributing child sexual abuse images.

As a result, an arrest warrant was obtained for Jordan for the charge of distribution of child sexual abuse images, a special felony.

In December of 2022 Jordan was arrested in Lisbon, Maine on the outstanding warrant.

He was held pending extradition to New Hampshire.

On February 3, Jordan was transferred into the custody of the Nashua Police Department with assistance from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Jordan was charged with four counts of distribution of child sexual abuse images, a special felony, two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness, a class B felony, and certain uses of computer services prohibited, a class B felony.

He was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and will be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court Southern District on February 6.
