RUTLAND — A 58-year-old man is facing charges following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified that Kevin Larochelle, of Rutland, was in a home on Lincoln Avenue.
The residents told police that Larochelle was not supposed to be there.
The caller told police that he had hit a resident in the face with a knife.
Police arrived and were able to take Larochelle into custody.
Larochelle is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violation of conditions of release.
He was held without bail.
