MANCHESTER — A 26-year-old man was arrested in Manchester on Sunday.

Authorities say they were notified of a call from a Central Street address at around 11:40 a.m.

Police say they spoke with a woman who reported that she had gotten into an argument with a man she knew.

As the argument escalated, the man broke a mirror and then pointed a gun at her while she sat on the bed with her three-year-old child.

The suspect was identified as Tyler Bemis, of Manchester, who had left the residence before police arrived.

He returned to the building shortly after and was taken into custody without further incident, police say.

He was charged with two counts of both felony criminal threatening and reckless conduct, and misdemeanor criminal threatening and criminal mischief.

Police say he will as well face two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
