4 arrested in coordinated effort in Nashua

NASHUA — Several people in the Nashua area were arrested last week as part of Operation Granite Shield.

During the week of January 30, members of the Hudson Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and the Problem Oriented Policing Unit participated in a coordinated round-up.

Police say Roy Taft, 55, of Nashua, was charged with acts prohibited, sale of a controlled drug (heroin/fentanyl) –special felony, and acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine)- felony.

He was released on personal recognizance pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Christopher Dixon, 29, of Middleboro, Massachusetts, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute (heroin/fentanyl) – felony.

He was released on personal recognizance pending his future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Juan Santos Jr, 32, of Nashua, was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, possession of property without a serial number, operating after subsequent offense, violation of parole warrant, and electronic bench warrant.

He was held on these charges pending a future arraignment at the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District.

Amber Mochrie, 37, was charged with acts prohibited, possession of a controlled drug (crack cocaine).

She was released on personal recognizance pending her future arraignment a Hillsborough Court Superior Court.
