Sexual predator wanted by Nashua police behind bars

NASHUA — A man wanted for years on several sexual assault charges is back in New Hampshire behind bars.

In June of 2016, the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau responded to a local address for the report of a sexual assault involving multiple juvenile females.

At the time of the initial report little information was known about the possible suspect or location of the offenses.

Detectives developed information regarding the possible location of offenses and developed Jesse R. Reynolds, age 43, as the possible offender.

In July of 2016 detectives attempted to interview Reynolds however those attempts were unsuccessful.

In December of 2016 the Nashua Police Department received information that another juvenile female disclosed inappropriate contact with Reynolds.

Detectives again attempted to locate Reynolds but learned he had left the state and was possibly living in Massachusetts.

In February of 2022 Detectives learned that Reynolds was now living in Adrian, Michigan.

Detectives continued the investigation and conducted numerous follow ups and interviews.

It was determined that Reynolds had engaged in a pattern wherein he messaged, solicited, recruited, and sexually exploited multiple juveniles through online dating applications and social media websites.

Detectives also learned that Reynolds engaged in a pattern of abuse with multiple adult females known to him.

In November 2022, Detectives applied for and were granted a warrant for Reynold’s arrest for Felonious Sexual Assault (Class B Felony).

In January 2023, Detectives from the Special Investigations Division traveled to Michigan to help facilitate Reynold’s arrest with the Michigan State Police.

On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, members of the Michigan State Police arrested Reynolds without incident.

Reynolds was incarcerated at the Lenawee County Jail located in Adrian, Michigan awaiting extradition back to New Hampshire.

On January 27, 2023 Reynold’s was extradited back to New Hampshire with the assistance of the
Hillsborough County Sheriffs.

Reynolds will be charged with two counts of Felonious Sexual Assault (Class B Felony) as well as Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault – Domestic Violence (Special Felony), three counts of Second Degree Assault – Domestic Violence (Class B Felony), two counts of Second Degree Assault (Class B Felony), and two counts of Certain Uses of Computer Services Prohibited (Class B Felony).

Reynolds refused bail and is being held pending his arraignment at the Hillsborough Superior Court Southern District on Monday, January 30, 2023.

It was learned through the investigation that Reynolds has lived in multiple States, including New
Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Michigan.
