MANCHESTER — A 39-year-old woman from New Hampshire is facing multiple charges following an incident in Manchester early this morning.

Police say they attempted to locate a vehicle that was involved in a brief pursuit with the Manchester police earlier in the evening.

The trooper located the vehicle traveling on a city street at around 1:35 a.m.

Police say the driver failed to stop for the trooper’s emergency lights and sirens, continued to flee, and entered the interstate on I-93 north.

Troopers from the Troop B and D barracks were successful in deploying spike strips on I-93 near the Hooksett rest area.

The driver continued to travel at a slow rate of speed while riding on its rims and exited the interstate in Concord.

With the assistance of the Concord New Hampshire Police Department, the pursuit came to an end on Gas Street near several closed businesses.

The driver, identified as Laurie Rebecca Keith, of Manchester, was taken into custody without incident.

Keith faces charges of felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying a police officer, aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, negligent driving, traffic control device violation, solid line violation, lane control violation, and failure to use required turn signals.

She refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court on January 17.
