Merrimack teen killed in two-vehicle crash

MERRIMACK — A teen from Merrimack has been identified as the passenger who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Friday.

Police say Xander Venedam, 18, was riding in a 2018 Jeep Compass driven by Desiree Venedam, 43, of Merrimack, prior to the crash.

The vehicle was headed east on Continental Boulevard in Merrimack at around 7 p.m. when it was struck by a minivan.

The minivan crossed over the center line and struck the Jeep head on.

All occupants of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals, some with serious bodily injuries.
