POWNAL — A 44-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Pownal today.
Authorities say they were notified of a trespassing complaint at a home on U.S. Route 7 at around 11:05 a.m.
During the course of the investigation, police say that Joshua Trainor, of Pownal, had an active in-state arrest warrant for an assault and robbery case.
Trainor was placed into custody and transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, he was transported to the Bennington County Courthouse to appear in front of a judge.
