Teen seriously injured during crash in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A teen was seriously injured during a crash in Manchester, New Hampshire on Tuesday.

The crash took place on Raymond Wieczorek Drive, near the intersection of Roundstone Drive, at around 10:40 p.m.

According to the report, a 2007 Chevy pickup truck was disabled near the center median of Raymond Wieczorek Drive, just west of the Roundstone Drive intersection.

A 2016 Honda Civic had stopped to assist the pickup truck when a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta collided with the pickup truck and ultimately struck the driver of the Honda Civic, who was out of his vehicle at the time.

The victim was identified as Jonathan Griffin, 18, of Auburn, New Hampshire.

The driver of the Volkswagen Jetta remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

At the request of the New Hampshire State Police Troop B, the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and assumed the lead of the investigation.

The C.A.R. Unit was assisted on the scene by the New Hampshire State Police Troop B, the Londonderry Fire Department, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

Police are still investigating the crash.
