RUTLAND — A 59-year-old man from Rutland was cited for assault of a protected professional following an incident at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault report on Friday.
According to the report, George Carver had assaulted a staff member.
Carver was issued a citation to appear in court for the charge.
