HIGHGATE — A 49-year-old man was arrested in Highgate yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an assault in progress on Spring Street at around 11:20 p.m.
Police say they encountered Todd Hemingway, of Highgate, who was barricaded inside his room with the victim of the assault.
Police made entry into the room and Hemingway fled out of a window on foot.
US Border Patrol Agents were able to track Hemingway to a home where he was taken into custody.
He was lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.
