Man arrested for DUI, assault in Clarendon

CLARENDON — A 35-year-old man was arrested for DUI in Clarendon yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a “Be on the Lookout” regarding a vehicle that had been used in an assault with a gun.

Police located the vehicle on Dorr Drive at around 7:30 p.m.

Police pulled over the vehicle and detained the driver, Terance Wilbur, of Clarendon.

They developed probable cause that Wilbur was driving under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

Wilbur was arrested, processed, and cited for DUI.

He was also charged by Vermont State Troopers in reference to their incident involving Wilbur.
