RUTLAND — A 28-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an investigation was opened in Rutland last month.

On November 17, authorities were notified of a robbery at Game Stop in the Rutland Shopping Plaza at around 3:00 p.m.

Police say they met with employees who reported a suspect had entered the store, assaulted staff, and stole property from the business.

Over the next several days, police were responded to several calls for service where food delivery drivers were reporting that they were being robbed or having food stolen from them while making deliveries.

Following an investigation, police say that these incidents were related and committed by the same suspect.

On November 30, police arrested Dana Roones, of Rutland, and charged him with various robbery and assault charges.

Roones was arraigned before a criminal court judge who ordered him held in custody without bail pending trial.
