Driver clocked doing 106 mph in Berlin facing charges

BERLIN — A 26-year-old man from Jamaica was cited following an incident in Berlin on Monday.

Police say they observed a vehicle traveling at an extremely high rate of speed on I-89 at around 10:10 a.m.

The vehicle was captured on radar traveling 106 miles-per-hour in an area of highway posted at 65 miles-per-hour.

The driver was identified as Roshaun Bolton, of Saint Thomas Parish, Jamaica.

He was issued a criminal citation to appear in court to answer the charge of negligent operation.
