Police looking for man who threatened someone with a knife in Richford

RICHFORD — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who threatened someone in Richford yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified that a man threatened Terrance Spicer, 65, of Richford, with a knife on Main Street at around 2:25 p.m.

The man allegedly claimed that he was a law enforcement officer and that he was the new owner of a property on Main Street.

Neither Spicer nor any of the witnesses on the scene have been able to identify this individual.

The man was reportedly operating a red Dodge Challenger with a white and blue registration plate which left the area in an unknown direction.
