Police save owl in Bennington County

MANCHESTER — Local police saved an injured owl in Manchester yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an animal in the road on West Road

Police located this owl which appeared to have been struck by a car.

The owl was removed from the road and brought back to the Manchester Police Department, where a wildlife rehabilitation worker was contacted.

A short time later the rehabilitator arrived and took the owl.

Police say that the owl should make a full recovery in a few weeks.
