Single-vehicle crash with injuries in Williston

WILLISTON — A 58-year-old man from Burlington was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Williston yesterday.

The crash took place on I-89 north at around 5:40 p.m.

The driver was identified as Joseph Kociolek.

Police say that Kociolek had contacted the guardrail and then crossed over the lane of travel coming to a position of uncontrolled rest in the ditch.

He was evaluated by Williston Fire and Rescue and ultimately transported to UVM Medical Center for minor injuries to his face and head.

Police say they are still investigating.
