Man arrested for DUI #2 in Fair Haven

FAIR HAVEN — A 37-year-old man from Proctor was charged with a second DUI following an incident in Fair Haven yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a reported family fight on Pleasant Street at around 1:00 a.m.

Police say that Jason Sheldrick had operated a motor vehicle during the incident and they detected signs of impairment.

Sheldrick was administered standardized field sobriety tests roadside and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

He was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks for processing and released on a citation to appear in court to answer for the charge.
