MILTON — A 34-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested for DUI following a crash in Milton early this morning.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Interstate 89 north at around 1:35 a.m.
Police say they located a 2020 Toyota Rav4 that had crashed into the wood line north of the Exit 17 off-ramp when they arrived.
The driver was identified as Ryan MacLaughlin, of Rockland, MA.
While speaking with MacLaughlin, police say they observed indicators of impairment from a substance other than alcohol.
MacLaughlin was arrested for the suspicion of DUI – drug and transported to Morrisville PD for processing where he participated in an evaluation with a Drug Recognition Expert.
At the conclusion of processing, he was issued a citation to appear in court to answer to the charge of DUI drug.
