Two-vehicle crash with injuries on Vermont Route 22A in Addison

ADDISON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Addison yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 22A, at the intersection of VT Route 17W, at around 8:50 a.m.

One driver was identified as Beth Waters, 42, of Port Henry, NY, and the other driver as Daniel Cohen, 71, of Burlington.

According to the report, Cohen was traveling north on VT Route 22A prior to the crash, as Waters was stopped on VT Route 17W facing east.

Waters entered the road, colliding with one of the rear driver’s side tires of Cohen.

Waters sustained injuries and her vehicle was totaled, police say.

VT Route 22A was temporarily reduced to one lane.

State Police was assisted by Vergennes Ambulance Rescue Squad and the Addison Volunteer Fire Department.
