DORSET — A 36-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Dorset yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an active family fight at a home on Dusty Hollow Road at around 7:05 p.m.
Police allege that Avery C. Ellsworth, of Dorset, physically assaulted a family member.
He is accused of taking their phone to prevent them from calling 911 for help.
Ellsworth was placed under arrest and transported to the Shaftsbury State Police barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Ellsworth was issued conditions of release which ordered him to appear in court today.
