Single-vehicle crash with injuries in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — A 59-year-old woman from Hinesburg was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Charlotte this morning.

The crash took place between Hinesburg Road and Spear Street at around 11:00 a.m.

The vehicle was seen facing north on Spear Street pinned to a telephone pole.

According to the report, Natalie Gentry was traveling east before driving off the road and colliding with a telephone pole.

Gentry sustained a neck and arm injury and was also transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center by the Charlotte Fire Department.

Elite Auto Towing assisted with removing the vehicle from the scene, and Green Mountain Power was called out to assist with the telephone pole.
