Man charged after climbing through Taco Bell drive-through window in Rutland

RUTLAND — A 45-year-old man from Proctor is facing charges following a bizarre incident in Rutland yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a disorderly man who had climbed through the drive-through window of the Taco Bell on Farrell Road at around 9:20 p.m.

Police allege Kenrick Staine blocked traffic and climbed through the window to make entry into the building.

Staine was issued a citation to appear in court on August 29.

He faces charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful trespass.
