Motorcyclist injured during crash in Bristol

BRISTOL — A 33-year-old man from Pawlet was involved in a motorcycle crash in Bristol on Friday.

The crash took place at the intersection of Vermont Route 116 and Hunt Farm Road, at around 7:30 p.m.

The driver was identified as Cody Gaylord.

According to the report, Gaylord was traveling north on Vermont Route 116 when he went around a corner and lost control of his motorcycle.

The bike went into a ditch before going airborne.

Gaylord was transported by Bristol Regional EMS to UVM Medical Center for neck and head injuries.

State Police were assisted on the scene by members of the Bristol Fire Department.
