BURKE — Three people were cited for simple assault following an incident in Burke yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a fight in progress at a home at around 11:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, police learned that Andrew Baird, 22, of Burke, and Dalice Noyes, 22, of Burke, were in an altercation with Nicole VanVliet, 21, of Burke.
Police say VanVliet took off on foot but was located shortly after.
Following an investigation, it was found that all parties assaulted each other, police say.
All were cited in court to answer to the charge of simple assault.
