Police: Tunbridge man facing charges of domestic assault, violation of conditions

TUNBRIDGE — A 44-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Tunbridge yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a possible domestic incident on Whitney Hill Road at around 7:40 p.m.

On November 22, the court issued conditions of release on Kevin Whiteman, of Tunbridge.

Among the conditions, Whiteman was ordered to not abuse or harass a protected person.

A trooper from the VSP Royalton barracks investigated the domestic incident at Whiteman’s home.

As a result of this investigation, he was arrested for assaulting the household member who was the subject of a court order and was a protected person in the criminal court order.

He was transported to the State Police barracks in Royalton for processing.

He was issued a citation and ordered to appear in court today.
