Two-vehicle crash in Rutland

RUTLAND — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Rutland yesterday.

The crash took place at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 4 at around 6:20 p.m.

According to the report, Donna Chamberland, 60, of Rutland, struck a 20-year-old driver from Castleton.

Police say due to airbag deployment, both vehicles were totaled.

Chamberland suffered minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital, police say.

Troopers were assisted on the scene by Earle’s Truck Repair and the Rutland Town Fire Department.
