PUTNEY — A 24-year-old man from Royalton was arrested following an incident in Putney yesterday.
Police say they arrested Adam Fane after the vehicle he was operating was clocked doing 109 miles-per-hour in the posted 65 miles-per-hour speed zone on I-91 at around 6:35 p.m.
Fane was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date for the charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and excessive speed.
He was also issued a traffic ticket for a civil speeding violation.
